Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.

How often should my air conditioning be serviced?

We recommend a service at least once a year, ideally before summer. Systems that run daily, such as in shops or offices, benefit from a service every six months.

How much does installation cost?

It depends on the type of equipment, the size of the space and the pipe or duct work involved. We offer free quotes so you know the price before you commit. Call 07862 800922 or send an enquiry.

Do you work on fridges and freezers?

Yes. We install, repair and maintain refrigerators, for homes and for commercial premises such as shops and restaurants.

Can you repair or maintain an existing cold room?

Yes. We install new cold rooms and also repair and maintain existing ones. Regular maintenance helps protect your stock and avoid unexpected breakdowns.

What does ventilation system setup involve?

We look at your property and how it is used, then set up a ventilation system to suit. Get in touch with a few details and we will advise on the best option.

Do I need planning permission for air conditioning?

In most cases, no. Many domestic installations fall under permitted development, but there are exceptions, such as listed buildings, conservation areas and some flats. We can advise when we quote.

Can air conditioning also heat my home?

Yes. Most modern systems are reversible heat pumps, so they can cool in summer and provide efficient heating in winter.

Why does my system need a regas, and who can do it?

Low refrigerant usually means there is a leak, so it needs finding and repairing first. In the UK only F-Gas registered technicians may handle refrigerants, and we are F-Gas registered.

Which areas do you cover?

We cover [your area] and the surrounding towns. If you are unsure, send us your postcode and we will let you know.
